Entering

How do I enter?

Hit Enter here at the top of any page, pick your race day and distance, and follow the prompts.

Do I need a credit card to enter?

A card is the easiest way to enter online and it locks your place in straight away. If you do not have one, we take walk-up entries on race morning — cash only, and a late entry fee applies.

Can I change my distance?

Yes. Get in touch through our contact page and we will move you across.

On the day

What time should I arrive?

If you have already entered online, arrive 40 to 50 minutes before your start. That gives you time to check in, collect your bib and be ready for the pre-race briefing.

If you are entering on the day, give yourself 45 minutes to an hour so we can get you into the system and hand you a bib without a rush.

When does athlete check-in open?

Athlete check-in opens 90 minutes before each race start. It is the marked area where you collect your race bib, so head there first.

How do I get my bib and timing tag?

You collect both on race morning at athlete check-in. Bring your order number, and we will hand you your bib with the disposable timing tag already attached.

Is there a bag drop?

Yes. A staffed bag drop tent sits near the timing tent and is open all day, so you can leave your gear while you run.

How do I get to the venue?

All three race days are held at Newington Armory, Sydney Olympic Park. Search it on Google Maps and follow the directions to the site.

Each race day page also has a map link that drops you straight on the venue.

The course

Where can I find the course maps?

On the page for your race day. Maps go up as soon as each course is signed off — until then you will see a Coming soon note in their place.

Can I walk the event?

Absolutely, and plenty do. We are proud to be walk friendly. Just keep the cut-off time in mind, as it keeps everyone safe:

  • Race one: 11:30 a.m.
  • Race two: 11:30 a.m.
  • Race three: 11:30 a.m.
How is the course marked?

Write your course marking and marshalling detail here — signage, marshals, turnaround points and water stations.

Do I get splits?

Yes. Timing mats sit every 2.5km, so you get a full set of splits whichever distance you take on.

Awards and safety

What are the award categories?

5km and 10km: overall fastest male and female.

Half marathon: overall fastest male and female, plus Open category (16+) top three male and female, and Veteran category (40+) top three male and female.

Is there a pre-race safety briefing?

Yes, held at the start line shortly before each wave goes. Write the timing and detail here once it is locked in.

Nothing matched that. Try a different word, or get in touch.
